IMPORTANT: SXSW Traffic & Travel Times
The event is taking place during SXSW which makes the city BUSY. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of people descending on the city, road closures, and traffic that can turn a 10-minute drive into 45 minutes.
Plan Accordingly: Budget extra time for all travel—what Google Maps says might double during peak hours.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
Shuttles will run for one hour pre and post event on March 12-13 and one hour pre-event on March 14. Transportation after the conclusion of the event will be on your own. Shuttles will depart once max capacity is reached. If max capacity is reached prior to the scheduled departure time, the shuttle will depart early. If you miss the first shuttle, please plan on taking the trip.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is about 20 minutes from downtown Austin (without SXSW traffic—add 15-30 minutes during the festival).
