Brandon West spent twelve years building PHOS Creative before he understood what his company was for. The shift did not happen at a strategy offsite. It happened in QuickBooks, categorising a $42 charge, when he realised the money was in the account so that he could do something with it. What followed was North Central Florida’s first sex trafficking safe house, full inside a month, and then 37 care centers around the world, five years ahead of the goal his leadership team laughed at. In this conversation with Justin Forman he talks about the blinders, the street outreach he was told to watch from inside the car, what dignity looks like when someone is handed a gift basket and asks what they owe for it, and the one rule for anyone frozen by the size of the problem.
