We affirm God’s good design for life communicated so clearly in Psalm 139. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Over the course of just the last few decades, over a billion babies have been aborted across the globe. Sometimes because of gender or potential health defects or disabilities, tragic loss of life robs our world of untold numbers of people created in God’s image.

This loss of life takes a tremendous toll on these mothers and fathers as well. The trauma and pain and shame associated with abortion lingers far beyond the act. And for parents who choose life, the difficulties and costs of raising children cannot be overstated.

How can God’s people care for the babies, women, and men at all stages of this journey? How can we pursue policy and ministry to respond to the rapidly changing regulatory and medical environment around us?
